Accounts Receivable and Payable Specialist

Growing Property Management Firm has an exciting opportunity for a professional Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) specialist at our office in Long Island City New York

The Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) Manager shall perform the following:

Review and approve invoices to be paid through Avid Exchange portal

• Update and maintain vendor database
• Weekly analysis of invoice aging
• Prepare monthly rent/ maintenance bill file to be sent to Graphics Service
• Enter lease renewals into system
• Reconcile vendor statements
• Ability to process and follow-up on rush items
• Maintains account payable/receivable files
• Monthly account reconciliations
• Special projects as assigned
• Qualifications:
• Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience in property management industry
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner
• Able to meet deadlines
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative
• Experience with Timberline and Avid Exchange or similar programs.Benefits and Features:

Pay: $28.00 - $45.00 per hour
