Accounts Receivable Clerk

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing the financial transactions of our company, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of Accounts Receivable. This is a vital role within our organization, as you will play a key part in maintaining positive relationships with our clients and ensuring timely payments.

Duties:
- Monitor patient accounts for non-payment, delayed payment, or other irregularities
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or disputes
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve any outstanding issues affecting Accounts Receivable
- Prepare and maintain various financial reports related to Accounts Receivable
- Maintain accurate records of all patient interactions and transactions

Experience:

- Proven experience working as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or in a similar role
- Familiarity with governmental accounting regulations is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients to resolve disputes
- Knowledge of medical billing procedures and ICD-10 coding is preferred but not required
