Accounts Receivable

We are looking for a skilled Accounts Receivable Clerk who will provide clerical and accounting support to the company.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

- Communicate with customers and place their orders
- Generate and distribute invoices on a daily basis and statements monthly
- Day to day transactions include balancing, organizing, computing and recording data
- Receive and receipt customer payments
- Apply customer payments to accounts
- Prepare customer payments for bank deposits
- Set up past due account lists
- Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Competencies:

- Proficiency and knowledge in Accounts Receivable processes and procedures
- Experience using Excel spreadsheets and Word
- Solid math skills for calculating balances using decimals
- Detail oriented with good organizational skills and high degree of accuracy
- Professional phone etiquette for interacting with customers over the phone
- Proficient 10-key typing skills for entering numerical data accurately
- Ability to multi-task in a busy office setting

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
