Our Accounts Payable Bookkeeper must be able to work independently and multi-task.
*** MUST HAVE WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF MICROSOFT EXCEL
Duties of the A/P Bookkeeper include but are not limited to the following:
- Write/code all accounts payable vouchers and assure proper approvals
- Write checks for all vendors & employee reimbursements
- Distribute accounts payable checks for signature
- Maintain records of all invoices paid to vendors & employees
- Maintain A/P software system as well as the bank's vendor list for bill pay
- Maintain the file system for the accounting office & assure completeness of accounting records
- Respond to inquiries from vendors & employees regarding payments
- Analyze and reconcile vendors' accounts
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel & Outlook a must
- Knowledge of Bank Reconciliations preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $50,000-65,000 annually
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
