Competition Automotive Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting department. We represent the brands Mercedes Benz, BMW, Infiniti, and Subaru. This position is located at our 10 Jefferson ave, St James, NY 11780 location.

In this role, you will be mainly responsible for:
Posting Invoices
Cutting expense checks
Reconciling corresponding schedules
Reconciling payable statements and remitting the payments
Cash receipts for the daily deposit
Special cost projects as needed
The successful candidate will have the following experience:
· Experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or will train someone with bookkeeper experience.
· Solid math skills and reconciling skills
· Basic computer skills (email, MS Suite, Google Suite)
· Needs to be detailed oriented and a problem solver
· Must be a team player
