Accounts Payable Clerk

Ken Garff Automotive Group is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to help with invoice review, data entry, account reconciliation, and other accounting processes at its corporate office. The selected individual will be a member of the corporate Accounting team, reporting to the Corporate Controller, and will also work with the dealership accounting offices, intercompany departments and entities, and external suppliers as needed.
Starting pay: $18.00 per hour
Work schedule: 20-25 hours per week in-office, either mornings or afternoons
Here's what you'll be doing:

• Review all supplier and vendor invoices for appropriate documentation and approval
• Entry of invoice into Oracle accounting system
• Answer all vendor inquiries and reconcile balances
• Help prepare Accounts Payable checks
• Print all Accounts Payable reports and maintain all Accounts Payable files
• Prepare analysis of accounts, as required
• Assist in monthly closings
• Assist with accounts receivable and special projects, as necessary
• Other duties as assigned

• 1-2 years AP/AR experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software products
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, organized, and effective problem-solver
• Great analytical skills and attention to detail
• Track record of learning quickly, completing complicated tasks and meeting deadlines
• Good computer skills
• High school diploma or GED
• Available to work in-office at Salt Lake City, UT (not remote)
