Accounts Payable Clerk

Prime Machine, Inc. and Prime Field Service Corp., are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk to be responsible for processing invoices for payment and the payment of all creditors in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. This is a part-time position with the potential for full-time.

Job Duties

• Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
• Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries.
• Pays vendors by verifying federal id numbers; scheduling and preparing checks; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos; issuing stop-payments or purchase order amendments.
• Ability to reconcile credit card statements.
• Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
• Keep vendor accounts updated with correct mailing address.
• Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Help maintain employee purchase report.
• May assist with travel for employees sent to out-of-area jobs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• Accounting or bookkeeping experience
