Accounts Payable Clerk

Responsibilities:
- Process Accounts Payable invoices and ensure accurate coding and entry into the accounting system
- Review and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies
- Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments
- Maintain accurate and organized Accounts Payable files and documentation
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to Accounts Payable
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve any invoicing or payment issues
- Provide support for audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or similar role
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
- Proficient in data entry and using accounting software (e.g., Automate, ADP, Reynolds)
- Familiarity with general ledger accounting and understanding of debits and credits
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing invoices and payments
- Strong organizational skills to maintain files and documentation
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
