ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK

SUMMARY: The Accounts Payable Clerk is an important position in the Controller's Group, supporting the entire North American organization (6 business units).  The Accounts Payable Clerk's primary responsibility is ensuring all invoices are process accurately and timely, while maintaining a strong internal control environment, and compliance with all statutory regulations. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following:

1. Must have extensive knowledge of SAP A/P module and its interfaces.
2. Invoice entry for finished goods, freight and other vendor invoices, as well as filing.
3. Program Administrator for Concur Travel & Expense (web-based expense reporting).
4. Proactive on day-to-day A/P issues.
5. Responsiveness to requests from internal customers and external vendors.
6. Self-assessment of Use Taxes.
7. Assist the A/P Supervisor with maintenance of vendor master file.
8. Assist with pay-cycles - accurate and timely payment of invoices and payment requests via check, wire transfer, or EFT.
9. 1099 Reporting.
10. Small Business Administration compliance.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEREQUIRED:

• Experienced Accounts Payable professional with five-plus years of experience
• SAP experience a MUST
