We are actively recruiting an experienced Accounts Payable Clerkto be part of the team at our HQ in North Bergen, NJ!

Automotive Accounts Payable Clerk Responsibilities

• Responsible for inputting invoices on a daily basis
• Makes payments of daily and monthly invoices in a timely manner
• Reconciles Accounts Payable statements prior to payment
• Reconciles manufacturer monthly statements/ If credit responsible for collecting
• Responsible for issuing of daily on demand checks
• Responsible for maintenance of assigned schedules (list will be supplied)
• Maintains accurate vendor check list and accrues for any missing invoices
• Reconcile and Maintain General ledger accounts

Automotive Accounts Payable Clerk Qualifications

• Individuals employed in this position must be able to understand accounting principles including debits and credits
• CDK & QuickBooks experience is preferred ***
• Individuals employed in this position must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions and management
• Individuals employed in this position must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Individuals employed in this position must be able to read, and generally analyze and interpret relevant business periodical, professional journals, technical procedures and/or government regulations and write reports and general business correspondence
• Individuals employed in this position must demonstrate sufficient computer literacy
• Individuals employed in this position must have excellent customer service skills and interpersonal communication skills; cultural sensitivity and demonstrates ability to work with diverse people groups
• Individuals employed in this position must possess a positive attitude and commitment to adhere to and administer company policies, procedures and standards
