Job Description
Accounts Payable and Office Administrator– Process all Accounts Payable and account reconciliations, prepare quarterly payroll tax returns, perform office ordering/administration/general office duties. We need a self-motivated detail-oriented individual interested in learning the “What, How and Why” of their job. This is a full-time position created by a previous employee’s retirement.
Company Profile: WFC Builders is a commercial general contractor operating in the greater Sacramento area since 1996. We focus primarily on medical office buildings, tenant improvements, commercial/industrial tilt ups and parking structures.
Qualifications:
- Ability to prioritize workload, multitask and efficiently operate in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high degree of accuracy, quality and productivity.
- Must be computer oriented, be detailed oriented and accurate.
- Dependable, responsible, honest, hard-working, conscientious and team player. Able to work well with a wide variety of people and stay focused on achieving what is best for WFC Builders.
- High school diploma. College course work, continuing education and construction work experience is a plus.
- Proficient using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, SharePoint & Outlook.
- Use a keyboard and 10-key by touch.
- Clear / concise verbal and written communication skills. Good organization and record keeping skills. Work effectively with others.
- Demonstrate initiative, strive for continuous improvement and be self-directed.
- Minimum 2 years in an office environment performing accounting, clerical, administrative and support activities.
· Construction office experience, knowledge and understanding of construction processes, terms, and procedures a plus
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
· Accounts Payable: Coordinate and process vendor invoices for approval and payment. Maintain credit card statements and receipts. Process Subcontractors Progress & Retention Billings. Record and track lien releases. Record and track Certified Payrolls for prevailing wage projects. Maintain and organize records in paperless filing system. Month end & Quarterly duties. Prepare and file sales/use tax returns.
· Office Administrator: Manage incoming mail and distribute as needed. Monitor and replace office supplies as needed. Manage and track maintenance on office equipment. Prepare and process business renewals/filings with various federal, state, county and city entities. Other general office duties as assigned.

- Compensation is based on skills and experience. Starting pay range is $24.00 – 30.00 per hour depending on experience.
