Accounting/Office Manager

Job Overview:
We are looking for a highly dedicated and team-oriented individual to join our management team. Our fast-growing operation is seeking a self-motivated individual with a vast knowledge of accounting and finance, with experience within the agricultural sector being preferred. This position would report directly to the CFO. We located in Floral City, FL and would accommodate a hybrid work schedule with a minimum requirement of 3 days per week in the office. . This is a key role within our organization, and you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our financial success.

Duties:
- Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Assist with the payroll processes, including payroll tax filings and reporting
- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies

-Enter pertinent financial data in QuickBooks for monthly financial analysis

-Produce financial reports and budgets to help management make financial decisions regarding equipment, cattle and other operation efficiencies

-Manage credit card transactions/reports for multiple entities

-Manage cost share opportunities, grants, and insurance programs for our agriculture operation

-Manage insurance policies for property, equipment, liability, health and workers compensation

-Assist with property management and real estate holdings

-Annual property tax classifications

-Leases, inspections and renewals

Skills:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:

- Previous experience in accounting is preferred but not required

- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting preferred

- Proficiency with QuickBooks is preferred, but not required

- Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis

- Experience with office management/human resources is a plus

- Background in agriculture is a plus

- Ability to work in a team environment

- Strong communication skills and the ability to meet deadlines

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
