Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager is a key position that will have responsibility for managing, retaining, and assisting a growing book of business by supporting outside sales Producers while offering excellent client service to existing books of business.

The Commercial Lines Account Manager requires a minimum of a 2-20 Florida insurance license. Responsibilities will include proactively working on renewals, coordinate premium collection and receivables research, and following up with client account status, inquires and concerns in a timely manner. Key relationships with carriers will be essential in determining carrier expectations while identifying opportunities for cross selling with clients.

Position requires use of the Applied Epic. Knowledge of Commercial Lines insurance along with proven stability and exceptional client service skills with strong computer knowledge is essential.

In addition to the above we are looking for someone who displays strong leadership abilities to lead the CLs Account Management team.

I would also say we are looking for someone who understands that this Florida market is very challenging. It is not easy right now. It is hard delivering news to our great clients that their renewals have gone up or that they are getting non renewed. It takes a person who can display empathy and have a personality knows that they are doing the best job that they can and that is all that anyone can ask for.

The specific position is VERY important to the agency. The current Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager is retiring from insurance by the end of 2024. We are looking to hire someone no later than June 1st (but we would hire earlier if we find the right person). You will then be trained by the person retiring for the next 6 months.
