Accounting Supervisor

The Account Supervisor will be responsible for managing statutory reporting and direct and indirect tax filings for RS IS US Inc. and all subsidiaries. Assisting in the delivery of a comprehensive financial and accounting function, including adherence to and monitoring of internal control policies and accurate Group reporting for the global business. This role will be instrumental in driving governance and control across the GL reporting and external filings. This role is the primary responsible party for providing data and support throughout the audit process of each market and is expected to interact directly with both internal and external key stakeholders. It is also expected that this position is pivotal in delivering projects as required to improve the accuracy and consistency of the financial team. This position will supervise a staff of three accounting assistants and a tax analyst. Routine interaction with function leaders across the business will be a key component of this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in review and reconciliation of general ledger to financial statements
• Work closely with the Human Resources (HR) team and the Company's outsourced payroll partners to ensure monthly payroll processing is accurate, timely, and controlled
• Take the lead role in internal production of the statutory accounts and filing procedures of each of the Group's entities
• Proactively manage Group statutory reporting tracker
• Responsible for timely coordination of all direct and indirect tax filings
• Effectively manage staff of four
• Responsible for daily cash forecasting and disbursements review
• Drive process improvement across financial procedures and reconciliations

• Ensure proper cross training and efficiencies are shared across the accounting team

• BS in Accounting and 5-7 years accounting work experience, CPA desired but not mandatory

• Knowledge of JDEdwards preferred
• Strong Microsoft Office skills required
