Accounting Specialist

Accounts Receivable:
Daily deposits: Posting of checks and charges to cash receipts.
Processing checks into Digital Express.
Posting of sales journal: Equipment sales, credit memo, misc. charges.
Dealer hold placed through central station for past due accounts.
Cancellation letters and subscriber letters.
Create and maintain dealer accounts and pricing.
Credit card payments, subscriber lists, insurance certificates,
Monthly billing and Collection calls for Metrodial dealers.

Accounts Payable:
Enter invoices into Dice and post.
Checks for invoices are printed 2X per week.
Invoices are scanned into DocStar they need to be filed in AP.
Enter data on Excel spread sheet “Truck Tracking” from the monthly Enterprise
Fleet Management invoice. Email Oscar the report.
Order gas cards and issue EZ Pass as needed.
Renew vehicle registrations
Maintain Lowitt Drivers spread sheet.

Misc:
Shipping equipment as well as other items as needed.
Maintaining appropriate supply of Metrodial printed materials: Invoices, envelopes, and letterhead.

UL:
Maintenance of all UL certificates. This includes all applications for new certificates, changes to current certificates and cancellations.
Reconcilement of the annual bill to Excel UL spread sheet.

NYC Fire:
Knowledge of requirements for monitoring systems and pricing.
Submitting TB60 applications to the FDNY for terminal assignments.
Monthly invoice for the new NYC terminal assignments added. There is an annual billing for NYC fire as well.

Knowledge of the following is preferred:

Resideo/Alarmnet M2M
Connect 24 Nearnet
Alarmpath SecureCom
Telguard DMP

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.81 - $29.88 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
