Job Summary:
Supports accouting team by managing AP and AR functions; supports front office customer service team by answering phones; maintaining supplies and equipment; picking-up and delivering items; serving customers.
Duties:
* Supports accounts payable by loading all vendor invoices into computer system.
* Support accounts receivable by performing all daily cash receipts and tracking customer payment status through the use of reports. Customer contact as necessary to collect past due payments.
* Serves customers by backing-up customer service; answering questions; forwarding messages; confirming customer orders; keeping customers informed of order status.
* Forwards information by receiving and distributing communications; collecting and mailing correspondence; copying information.
* Maintains supplies by checking stock to determine inventory levels; anticipating requirements; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt; stocking items; delivering supplies to work stations.
* Maintains equipment by completing preventive maintenance; troubleshooting failures; calling for repairs; monitoring equipment operation; monitoring and purchasing meter fund.
* Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
* Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting department documents and information.
* Verifies information by comparing information to original source; recalculating totals.
* Completes documents by entering/typing data from source materials or recordings.
* Revises documents by entering/retyping edited data.
* Verifies documents by proofreading and rechecking requirements.
* Reproduces documents by operating a copy machine.
* Maintains historical records by filing documents.
* Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
* Maintains work flow by sorting and delivering information.
* Provides information by answering questions and requests.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
