Job Description:
This position plays a vital role in our operations, collaborating with various departments including warehouse, accounting, commercial operations, and pricing. Reporting directly to the Controller, the Temporary Accounting Clerk ensures seamless coordination of receiving processes and maintains accurate records.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Review and sign off on daily receiving batches upon arrival from the warehouse.
Maintain the Arizona Daily Receiving Log.
Conduct bi-monthly Receiving Log Audits with resolution of discrepancies.
Number, audit, image, file, and archive Daily Receiving Packets.
Identify discrepancies in received items and address any breaks versus claims.
Process below-threshold receives and breaks.
Execute inventory adjustments.
Handle code-to-code movements and layer adjustments post-Staff Accountant validation.
Log samples received into the DC warehouse.
Image transfer invoices and provide Bills of Lading (BOL) to receivers as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate:
Two years of general accounting experience *REQUIRED*.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Accurate data-entry skills.
10-key by touch.
Keen attention to detail.
Ability to multitask effectively in a high-energy environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong team player with the ability to build effective relationships with coworkers.
Self-starter with high energy and ability to prioritize tasks.
Highly organized individual capable of working independently and meeting deadlines.
On-boarding Requirements:
