Accounting Clerk

Standard Enterprises has an immediate opening for an Accounting Clerk in Monroe, LA!

Salary will depend on experience

Responsibilities:

• Record ACH transactions
• Record and process deposits
• Verify and balance Accounts Payables
• Enter annual and monthly budget figures for financial statements
• Balance end of month reports from properties
• Bank statement reconciliations for multiple entities
• Journal entries in General Ledger
• Maintain General Ledger
• Budget analysis verifying all monthly bills are paid and unusual expenses have explanation for Co
• Budget analysis verifying all monthly bills are paid and unusual expenses have explanation for Controller approval
• General monthly financials in electronic and paper format
• General office duties including, but not limited to, ordering banking supplies and filing
• Special projects as assigned by direct supervisor

Requirements:

• Knowledge of standard accounting concepts
• Computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Experience with spreadsheets and accounting software
• Ability to work well with others under deadline situations and respond positively to changes in priorities
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities and see projects through to completion
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
