Responsibilities:
- Process payment receipts and bank deposits in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist with Accounts Payable by reviewing invoices and obtaining proper approvals before processing payments.
- Reconcile company Direct Bill commission statements to ensure accurate payments are received.
- Monitor the Accounts Receivable aging report and follow up with customers to collect on delinquent accounts.
- Responsible for mailing invoices and statements to customers and ensuring all customer information is up to date.
- Perform light clerical duties such as filing and providing backup to manage company inbox.
- Assist with License compliance by ensuring all necessary licenses and certifications are up to date and properly recorded.
- Other duties as assigned by the Controller to support the accounting team and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping and/or accounting assistant experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with team members and external stakeholders.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills to accurately record financial transactions and reconcile accounts.
- Good problem-solving and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented to maintain accurate financial records and files.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 per year
