Accounting Clerk

Hanover Foods Corporation located in Hanover PA is currently seeking an Accounting Clerk. This position is primarily responsible for processing, with a high degree of accuracy and thoroughness, accounts payable invoices, and maintaining the BPCS and Marcam maintenance systems for A/P invoices. Also, responsible for various accounting tasks as staffing needs require. This is a full time position working Monday through Friday position 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Primary responsibilities

Prints and distributes invoices and/or statements from Accounts Payable email box.

Reviews and sorts all incoming mail to the Accounting Department.

Batches and keypunches A/P invoices into the AS400 system.

Processes all manual checks and invoices into the AS400 system.

Processes EDI freight invoices through the EDI system.

Reviews and reconciles vendor invoices statements.

Runs system reports as required.

Qualifications

· Good math skills

· Ability to communicate both verbal and written form

· Excellent organizational skills

· Ability to maintain general ledgers.

· Good knowledge of operation of standard office equipment

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
