Robert Half has an opening for an Accounts Payable Clerk in the manufacturing industry, based out of Post Falls, Idaho. The Accounts Payable Clerk will be a contract / temporary opening with the opportunity for long-term for the right candidate. The Accounts Payable Clerk will match and batch code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. This company offers prospects of career growth and advancement.

Responsibilities

- Heavy data entry - will process over 500 invoices per week

- Verify, log and send checks, including facilitating special handling

- Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department

- Manage department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it on a daily basis

- Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies

- Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents

- Provide customer service to internal business partners

-BS/BA degree in Accounting is required

- Prior experience in an A/P role preferred

- Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

- Entering Invoices experience

- Spreadsheet and database capabilities

- Be detailed, flexible, and organized
