SalaryProfessional Knowledge:
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills: Windows, Microsoft Office
- Must be able to type 50 wpm
- Must exhibit excellent customer service skills including excellent verbal and written communications to enable effective interaction with all levels of personnel management.
- High attention to detail a must
- Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
- Minimum of 4 years relevant experience
Responsibilities: (including but not limited to)
- Process various types of Accounts Payable invoices such as purchase order invoices, vendor payment requests, subcontractor labor, etc.
- Maintain adequate payment records.
- Reconcile vendor statements. Resolve complex issues and concerns regarding vendor payments.
- Perform other Accounts Payable tasks requiring knowledge and understanding of Accounts Payable policies and procedures.
- Perform other special assignments within the Accounts Payable area such as analyzing vendor payments, researching requesting payment information, reviewing audit trails for appropriate cost distribution and other similar projects.
- Prepare and input cost distribution journals as required.
- Support testing of system upgrades and enhancements.
