Responsibilities: Reports to Chief Financial Officer/Controller
- Support the Controller in accounting duties.
- Assist with day-to-day accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist with payroll and ensuring accuracy.
- Assist with month-end reporting and filings.
- Assist with year- end reporting and filings.
- Deposit checks, maintain cash receipts and bank deposits.
- Prepare general ledger entries including month-end accrual journal entries
- Assist with audits.
- Misc. tasks as provided by controller/CFO.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- 1+ years of experience or recent graduates with a focus in accounting or finance encouraged to apply!
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in accounting or business preferred or equivalent accounting experience.
- Proficient with data entry and attention to detail and accuracy
- Efficient and effective communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in Excel
- Analytical & customer service mindset
- Recognizes urgency in solving problems and completing critical work.
