**Position: Account Manager**
**Location: Remote (Anywhere in the U.S.) - Travel Required**

Celerity has an opening for an Account Manager (AM). This position is ideal for an experienced and motivated sales professional with a strong track record of high performance.
The role of a Hunter-like Account Manager at Celerity Consulting Group is integral, aimed at aggressively expanding the company’s footprint in the public utility sector by not only managing and growing existing accounts but also actively seeking out and securing new client relationships. The responsibilities, required experience, and work environment are designed to support these dual objectives, which align with the company’s mission to deliver collaborative and operationally improving solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Account Expansion and Acquisition: With a $5M sales target in the first year, the role encompasses not just the management and growth of existing accounts, but also the pursuit and acquisition of new clients.
  • Proactive Lead Hunting: Identifying potential new clients through industry events, networking, and strategic research, while also focusing on opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Strategic Outreach: Engaging with both potential and existing clients through calls and emails to introduce and reinforce Celerity’s value in risk optimization.
  • Dynamic Sales Presentations: Delivering presentations that not only showcase Celerity's services but also actively engage clients in discussions about expanding their relationship with the company.
  • Relationship Development and Management: Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters. Deepening existing client relationships and establishing new ones, focusing on long-term account growth and client satisfaction.
  • Tailored Client Solutions: Understanding the evolving challenges of public utility companies to adapt and expand Celerity's offerings for both new and existing clients. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Expertise Utilization: Drawing on Celerity’s SME knowledge to enhance client conversations and solutions, focusing on strategic account planning and growth.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts. Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Cross-Departmental Strategy: Collaborating with various internal teams to align on growth strategies and leveraging collective insights for account expansion. Collaborate with teams to identify and grow opportunities within territory
  • In-Depth Market Analysis: Maintaining a strong understanding of the public utility landscape to identify new opportunities and tailor client strategies accordingly.
  • Innovative Contract Negotiations: Negotiating terms that cater to both client satisfaction and aggressive growth targets.
  • Collaborative Proposal Development: Working on proposals that not only retain business but also strategically position Celerity for account growth.
  • Ongoing Client Education: Acting as a trusted advisor for both prospective and current clients, guiding them through new initiatives and opportunities for expanded collaboration.

Education/Experience:
  • Target-Driven Sales Experience: A proven track record of at least 3 years in B2B/enterprise sales, with a strong focus on both account management and growth.
  • Essential Skills: Mastery in negotiation, CRM software, and superior communication skills, tailored towards both maintaining and expanding client relationships.
  • Education and Knowledge: Broad industry knowledge, with certifications or experiences that demonstrate a clear understanding of both sales strategies and public utility operations.
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
