Looking for a General Manager to manage the Red Lion Hotel. The Hotel General Manager is responsible for all aspects of operations at the hotel, restaurant, bar, events space, to day-to-day staff management and guests.
- Manage the financial performance of the property and the achievement of property sales and profit objectives.
- Serve our guests by modeling excellent service by striving for warm hospitable interactions, as well as, identifying and addressing guest issues.
- Build and manage team members. Everything from hiring, training, and maintaining a positive work environment.
- Manage the standards and procedures of Red Lion Hotels through effective planning, organization, training, and decision-making.
- Lead by example. Be ready to step-in and perform any task that is asked of team members.
- Deliver hotel budget goals and set other short and long term strategic goals for the property.
- Developing improvement actions, carry out costs savings.
- Corporate client handling and take part in new client acquisition along with the sales team whenever required.
- Assisting in sales as and when required and development with strong sales prospects.
- Responsible for safeguarding the quality of operations both (internal & external audits).
- Responsible for legalization, Occupational Health & Safety Act, fire regulations and other legal requirements.
- Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Computer proficiency, including Windows, Outlook, Word and Excel
- Ability to exercise independent discretion and judgment in performing managerial duties and responsibilities
- Ability to supervise, hire, train and motivate 50+ Team Members
