Hotel General Manager

Looking for a General Manager to manage the Red Lion Hotel. The Hotel General Manager is responsible for all aspects of operations at the hotel, restaurant, bar, events space, to day-to-day staff management and guests.

• Manage the financial performance of the property and the achievement of property sales and profit objectives.
• Serve our guests by modeling excellent service by striving for warm hospitable interactions, as well as, identifying and addressing guest issues.
• Build and manage team members. Everything from hiring, training, and maintaining a positive work environment.
• Manage the standards and procedures of Red Lion Hotels through effective planning, organization, training, and decision-making.
• Lead by example. Be ready to step-in and perform any task that is asked of team members.
• Deliver hotel budget goals and set other short and long term strategic goals for the property.
• Developing improvement actions, carry out costs savings.
• Corporate client handling and take part in new client acquisition along with the sales team whenever required.
• Assisting in sales as and when required and development with strong sales prospects.
• Responsible for safeguarding the quality of operations both (internal & external audits).
• Responsible for legalization, Occupational Health & Safety Act, fire regulations and other legal requirements.
• Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Computer proficiency, including Windows, Outlook, Word and Excel
• Ability to exercise independent discretion and judgment in performing managerial duties and responsibilities
• Ability to supervise, hire, train and motivate 50+ Team Members

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $75,000.00 per year

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Hotel management: 3 years (Required)
• Hospitality: 3 years (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Redding, CA 96002: Relocate before starting work (Required)
