Job Description
The Account Manager plays a crucial role in building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet their objectives. This role requires a combination of sales expertise, strategic thinking, and outstanding communication skills. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, driving revenue growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and exceptional service delivery. This is a Contract to Hire opportunity located near Aurora IL.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within assigned client accounts.
- Understand client objectives, challenges, and priorities to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and delivering value-added solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and escalations, ensuring prompt resolution and exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to develop customized solutions that address client needs and drive business growth.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to review performance, discuss opportunities for improvement, and explore new ways to add value.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts to expand revenue streams and increase account penetration.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations to secure new business and renewals.
- Track and analyze key account metrics, including sales performance, customer satisfaction, and retention rates, to assess account health and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activities to anticipate client needs and maintain a competitive edge.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and account updates using CRM software.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in sales, account management, or a related role.
- Proven track record of success in managing client relationships and achieving sales targets.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively present ideas and influence decision-making.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and develop creative solutions to meet client needs.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events, as needed.

- Pay is $24- $28 an hour depending on experience
