Maintenance Technician

Location: Aurora,IL

1st Shift: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm

2nd Shift: 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm

Pay: $25.00 – $30.00/Hr.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work effectively with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-reliance and initiative in completing tasks.
• Utilize acquired training and experience in one or more maintenance trades to perform tasks typically required of a journeyman.
• Supervise the work of one or more subordinates, ensuring quality and efficiency in their tasks.
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of technical training and 4 plus years of hands-on experience or equivalent.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and quality procedures to maintain a secure and productive work environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Position Requirements:

• Mechanical aptitude, including familiarity with basic hand tools.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Mastery in pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical energy systems.
• Capability to stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders frequently during work shifts.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments with accuracy.
• Willingness and physical capability to perform repetitive bending, kneeling, and lifting of cumbersome and heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).
• Knowledge of company policies, procedures, shop, and safety rules.
• Working with 480VAC electrical systems.
• Experience with 48 – 24 AC/DC control voltage.
• Familiarity with PLC systems, specifically Allen Bradley (AB) and Siemens.
• Proficiency in hydraulic systems maintenance and troubleshooting.
