Account Manager

This role is responsible for communicating the benefits of the company's services to increase sales. You will be the point of contact for prospects and/or clients and have a range of responsibilities, including identifying and educating current and future customers on products through calls, training, and presentations while providing existing customers with exceptional support, information, and assistance. This position incorporates inside and outside duties, including visiting customer sites and taking orders via phone and email.
As an Account Manager, your primary job is to develop and nurture client relationships within the elevator service and modernization sector. You'll be responsible for expanding customer engagement, identifying new leads, and pursuing potential contracts. Your role will be critical in reaching sales and revenue targets through adept negotiation and sales techniques. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth execution of projects. It's essential to have an in-depth understanding of the company's product offerings, enabling you to provide valuable technical advice to clients. You must maintain comprehensive records of customer interactions and sales activities for performance reviews. Reports on sales and forecasts will contribute to informed decision-making and sustained organizational growth.
Account Managers in the elevator industry need a bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field and at least three years of experience in sales or account management. You should also have strong communication skills and technical knowledge of elevator systems and technologies to recommend solutions and achieve sales targets. You must have a track record of meeting sales targets, be proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office, and be willing to travel to client meetings and industry events.
