Heluna Health invites applications for a key Account Manager position with Los Angeles Network for Enhanced Services (LANES) to support a community-based Healthcare Information Organization (HIO) whose mission is to improve health care delivery by building a platform that enables cost-effective and secure electronic exchange of patient medical records among public and private health care providers and health plans in Los Angeles County. LANES seeks to make personal health information available when and where it is needed for patient care, safely and securely.
The Account Manager will report dually to the Chief Program Officer and Senior Project and Data Manager. The Account Manager will support the LANES to ensure all contractual, financial and operational transactions are done timely and efficiently. The Account Manager should understand the context of assignments and be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities. The Account Manager will work with multiple stakeholders to implement processes and programs throughout the varying projects. This position is responsible for overseeing the day to day program activities and ensure all deliverables and expectations of the program are being met. The Account Manager will provide guidance to LANES, Chief Program Officer, Sr. Project and Data Manager, and Client Support Team. This position will develop policies and procedures as needed and develop and maintain reports.
The Account Manager will demonstrate outstanding leadership skills. The ideal candidate must possess outstanding management skills and experience working with diverse communities. In addition, this position requires excellent project management, interpersonal, budgeting, accounting, and communication skills. Must submit a resume with the application.
The salary range: $88,290 to $102,024 annual, depending on experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Manages all LANES account activities to include oversight of budget projections, active projects (setup to closeout), contracts, financial statements of activities, financial reports for LANES, and key metrics
- Serve as the lead point of contact between Heluna Health and LANES Executive Director and Board
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements as needed.
- Support LANES and HH Accounting in Accounts Receivables
- Ensure accurate, timely, and successful delivery of Heluna Health solutions according to LANES needs and objectives.
- Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g., monthly, quarterly, and annual forecast/projections)
- Manages and tracks assignments as assigned from the Sr. Project and Data Manager and Chief Program Officer or designee.
- Develops/refines procedures and communication channels to improve operations; maintains excellent communication/coordination across project team and LANES, as well as with external funders and partners.
- Manages and prepares written reports or summaries of responses to queries, situation updates, and other issues as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Accounting, Business Management, or related role
- Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive, Board, and C-level.
- Have a professional, positive attitude and work ethic.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multi-task effectively, prioritizing and managing assigned tasks in a timely manner.
- Minimum of two years of experience working in account or project management activities.
- Knowledge, skills and ability to use computer applications and online based systems as part of performing, documenting, and tracking daily work activities and assignments. Including but not limited to CRM software, Accounting Software or Systems, and MS Office (i.e., Excel)
- Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills (technical, and non-technical).

- Bachelor's Degree required
- Master's Public Health or Business preferred.
