- Responsible for the activies of Production Supervisors, Group Leaders and Production Associates
- Oversee and assist Production Supervisor and Production Schedulers to establish work schedules and follow through to completion
- Observe work to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards
- Develop or implement productin travking or quality control systems, analyzing production, quality control, maintenance, or other operational reorts, to detect production problems
- Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems
- Prepare and maintain production reports and other paperwork as needed
- Initiate or coordinate inventory or cost control programs
- Conduct employee training in equipment operations or work and safety procedures, or assign employee training to experienced workers
- Oversee and monitor employees' attendance and hours worked
- Interview, train, evaluate or discharge staff or resolve personnel grevances
- Participate in ongoing performance management including but not limited to evaluations, recommendations of wage increases and necessary corrective action
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, 5S practices, regulatory and/or customer requirements
- Authorities for an employee are granted by means of work instructions, policies and procedures and/or direction provided by management to meet the requirements of the customer
