As a Product Portfolio Operations Manager in Customer Identity & Authentication, you are a foundational member of a team responsible for implementing connectivity strategies across the product space, while being directly responsible for creating structures that enhance coordination in our product line.

In this role, you will partner closely with Product Owners, Technology Leads, Design Leads and Data Owners to manage Product Portfolio priorities, capacity, dependencies, risks, and performance metrics. You will be responsible for providing visibility into key prioritization decisions, escalating risks to all stakeholders through executive-level reporting, and monitoring overall health of the portfolio to manage product health and stability.

Job responsibilities

  • Works across products to help ensure delivery against business objectives while coordinating reporting and communications plans for portfolio management operations and change initiatives
  • Enables operational efficiency by supporting training, maturation, needs assessments, and continuous improvement practices
  • Drives adaptation and modification of our product-line framework to ensure cross-product priorities, sequencing, and trade-offs are realized
  • Implements a product-level collection strategy consisting of controls, financials, and resourcing needs
  • Aligns Product Portfolio priorities to strategic business objectives and monitors overall health of the portfolio through key metrics and data (i.e., business & customer outcomes, OKRs, product health metrics, capacity distribution)
  • Implements agile product development best practices aligned with Agility Office standards
  • Prepares senior management updates including Portfolio Reviews (PR), bi-weekly Product Updates and Executive Management Reports (EMR)
  • Supports special projects and executive requests, and synthesizes complex information in a strategic and compelling way so that the material is effectively communicated to relevant stakeholders
  • Engages and effectively collaborates with business, controls, operations, legal, compliance, risk, audit, and technology partners across the firm

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in program management or performance optimization
  • Proven ability to manage and implement operational effectiveness initiatives
  • Proven ability to operate within the product development life cycle and agile methodologies
  • Proficient in Agile product development methodology. including use of Agile project management tools (i.e., Confluence, Jira, Jira Align)
  • Proven experience delivering timely, high-quality communications, presentations, and reporting for various stakeholder groups. Attention to detail is a must with continuous focus on design excellence.
  • Demonstrated ability in working with cross functional stakeholders and driving the agenda.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with ability to establish trust and credibility.
  • Advanced level ability expected in all Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), Confluence and Jira.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, interdependent, and sometimes competing needs
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment in order to meet deadlines
