A Product Analyst plays a pivotal role in the lifecycle of a product, bridging the gap between business objectives and consumer needs. They are responsible for leveraging data insights to enhance product development, improve user experience, and drive strategic decisions. Primary Responsibility:
- Assists the Product Manager(s) in delivering digital solutions to meet business partner needs.
- Works to understand, communicate, and execute initiatives based on the priorities, timelines, and strategic direction of brands. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of brands like Vacation Club, Aulani Resort, and Adventures.
- They will work to ensure business partner needs are represented across digital experiences.
- Candidate needs to be comfortable working across multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
Job Specific Scope - Internal Expectations:
- Understand lines of business, roles, responsibilities, and processes within operations. Document and solve for gaps where identified.
- Work with Technology, Creative, and Production teams to help drive business priority decisions, remove roadblocks, and ensure a solid understanding of the defined scope as outlined by the Manager.
- Support of digital strategy created by the Manager using Agile framework including:
- Creating formal documentation in the form of a Project Brief, Business Requirements, and User Stories.
- Track business requests with the team using established tools such as Confluence and JIRA.
- Manage the content request backlog through Smartsheet and JIRA daily to ensure that priorities adhere to business and strategies.
- Ticket management - work with Production and Sustainment teams to address business clarification needs and road blockers.
- Support the delivery of creative assets developed in support of a feature, such as the visual design, content strategy, and copywriting, to ensure adherence to the strategic vision as outlined by the Manager.
Job Specific Scope - External (Partner) Expectations:
- Manages the day-to-day relationship and tactical digital execution of multiple teams across brands (ex. Marketing, Member Services, Sales).
- For new development efforts, collaborate with the Manager to build business requirements and manage scope expectations.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to address priority conflicts if they arise.
- Collaborate with other Product Analysts across various product lines and brands to support a seamless Guest experience across touch points.
General Expectations:
- Product Analyst is expected to work for an 8-hour day/40 hours per week. Time should be reported accurately; in times of exception should communicate and obtain approval from the Manager in advance.
- Communicate weekly status and next steps in the format communicated by the Manager.
- Dress in appropriate attire (business casual); plan for on-camera Zoom attendance in a hybrid role.
- Professional, friendly demeanor with internal and external business partners.
- Ability to form and maintain relationships.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in the online industry, marketing, and/or communications.
- Preferable product management experience in digital customer experience for a global or national brand(s), working closely with Technology, Creative, and User Experience teams.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with people over whom you do not have direct authority.
- Curiosity and ability to ask questions to learn about different business areas and topics.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and think creatively to solve problems.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at a time.
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders from different backgrounds and functions.
- Experience with Agile software development methodology.
- Experience with Slack, GSuite, and standard collaboration tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in product management and/or digital strategy.
- Consumer-focused product experience with demonstrable success/KPI metrics.
- Experience with cross-functional technology teams and prioritization of feature delivery/backlogs.
- Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Smartsheet, Figma, Workfront, and Teams.

- Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
