Description:
This role is the lead manufacturing labor Proposal Analyst and is responsible for developing sound cost estimates for manufacturing touch, support, and nonrecurring engineering labor.Deliverables consist of TINA compliant proposals due on a weekly basis that help secure future work in the RMS factory. Role will be responsible for day-to-day tactical execution for estimating labor based on historical data, as well as involvement in strategically shaping the proposal process with continuous improvement and mistake proofing in-mind.
You will work with Operations Program Managers and Manufacturing Engineers to ensure a quality and timely submission of all proposals.
Research & analyze historical manufacturing data using statistical analysis, applying learning curves when appropriate.
Initiates process improvements to enhance productivity & efficiency within the manufacturing touch labor estimate process.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking and business acumen skills, exhibit exceptional organizational skills, demonstrate proactive thinking, operate autonomously as needed, and produce superior work products within critical path deadlines.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in an engineering or data discipline
- Proposal knowledge and experience working proposals that are TINA compliant/certifiable
- 3-5 years experience in a production role
- Advanced proficiency with MS Excel including knowledge of VLOOKUP formulas and pivot tables
- High proficiency in Microsoft Power Point and Word
Desired Skills:
- Masters degree from an accredited college in an engineering or data discipline
- Able to work independently and formulate strategies
- Experience with automating repetitive labor activities
- SAP experience
- P2P experience
- genBOE proposal writeup experience
- Adapt to change and digital transformation
- Results oriented, with strong analytical abilities, a quick learner, and detail oriented.
- Ability to work well in a dynamic team environment
- Good communication skills
- Able to meet hard deadlines with quick turnaround times
- Confidence to interact vertically and horizontally across organizations

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules:
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
