SUMMARY
The Production Control Analyst will assist in managing the master schedule for materials and capacities within the ERP system. Identify and communicate imbalances of supply and demand for various products. Manage the Engineering Change Notice (ECN) process as directed by the Production Control Manager. Fast paced environment with multiple priorities and multiple internal and external contacts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Analyze demand and supply at the unit, customer, and master schedule levels, determine capacity or lead time constrains, identify alternatives, and recommend actions for approval
- Maintain a master schedule that can be used for detailed material/capacity planning as well as financial planning
- Establish a working relationship with all company functions
- Process ECN's, including setting effective and obsolete dates, by following the ECN procedures and adjusts item master
- Provide analysis of schedule, inventory, and other manufacturing tasks to guide decisions around the business
- Manage rework resulting from ECN's or other sources
- Review the Build Schedule and plans and adjusts MRP accordingly
- Maintain Purchase/Make system parameters to minimize total cost and Lead Time
- Maintain ERP data integrity to ensure proper calculations and prevent garbage-in, garbage-out
- Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company's discretion
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in operations, engineering, or business is strongly preferred
- Minimum of 4 years hands-on experience working with an ERP system, and/or advanced education on material requirements planning
- APICS certification a plus
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office and ERP software (Syteline Especially) are required
- Advanced Excel knowledge is preferred, both managing existing files and creating from scratch
- Knowledge of databases (MS SQL especially) and Business Intelligence tools (Tableau especially) preferred
