SUMMARY
Assistant Zipline Manager will lead guests on zipline tours. The tour consists of a combination of hiking, aerial ziplines and suspension bridges. Competed Lead Guide and Tour Guide training and the required hours to complete both. Must be able to perform and coordinate all evacuations, rescues or emergent situations in a professional manner unaided. Must be proficient at scheduling labor and use of reservation system.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned, including weekend work.
- Guides will visually inspect all elements of zipline tour, zipline gear for damage or other defects prior to guest arrival
- All safety gear will be properly stored and inspected for damage
- Guides will fit guests with harness, helmets and appropriate zipline equipment
- Guide will direct guests on hiking and the zipline tour
- Provide excellent customer service to guests, property owners, homeowners and fellow employees
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Guides will drive guests to the start of zipline course and pick up guests at the end of the tour.

- Be able to teach all aspects of Tamarack Zipline Training.
- Complete at least 1 season as Lead Guide.
- Must enjoy working and interacting with the public
- Must have great customer service skills and ability to work with train and evaluate employees on an ongoing basis.
- Must be highly organized, energetic, positive attitude, and the ability to get the job done.
- Must be over 18 years of age.
- Capable of maintaining a positive & professional attitude among your team.
- Clear communication skills, both verbal and written
- Highly responsible and reliable.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Requires knowledge of computer hardware, word-processing, spreadsheet and data base software, prefer experience with Microsoft Office. Requires knowledge of business letter writing and business forms; office procedures, business English, including vocabulary, correct grammatical usage and punctuation, filing systems; and common office machines and their operation.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous work experience in the outdoors and/or recreation
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Requires possession of a valid Driver's License with a driving record that meets the standards required by Tamarack Food & Beverage
- CPR/1st Aid Certified
- Ability to obtain Idaho Guides License
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Fluent in English
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
- Ability to do basic math

- Ability to identify and solve problems
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

- Frequent intermediate hiking and needs to be able to spend long periods of time in the air, 20 to 200 feet off the ground, for upwards of 4 hours.
- Frequent bending, climbing, kneeling squatting, twisting/turning from waist and pushing/pulling objects.
- Will be working with hands and fingers, lifting and moving objects up to 40 pounds horizontally and vertically on a regular basis.
- Near and far vision as well as good depth perception and color vision are important. Frequent use of senses.
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time.
- Good organizational and multi-tasking skills.
- Able to work in all weather conditions
