Work Order Coordinator - University Mail Services

JOB SUMMARY:
Operate mailing machines; adjust, maintain and operate mail processing equipment such as ink jet addressing systems, mail inserter, tabbers and folders. Process and meter outgoing mail and packages, as well as manual fulfillment and handwork. Use software to import, code and presort mailing lists. Enter and submit appropriate U.S. Postal Service documentation. Process different classes of mail with correct postage amounts. Inbound scan and process incoming packages for delivery to intelligent package lockers or to departmental delivery locations. Deliver mail and packages to various locations on campus and the USPS.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School graduate or equivalent - Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.
1 year of experience operating inkjet addressing equipment, mail inserters, tabbers, folders, postage meter machines and associated accounting.
Experience using postal presorting software to process and presort mailing lists - experience using BCC Software preferred.
Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting equipment problems.
Experience with mail service operations including inbound and outbound processing, sorting, and delivery using light vans and box trucks for mail and package delivery.
Knowledge of USPS rates and classifications, as well as knowledge of UPS, FedEx and other third-party vendor rates and shipping categories.
Experience with outbound multi-line shipping systems preferred.
Experience with package tracking systems and intelligent package locker systems preferred.
