Aventure Staffing is looking for an energetic professional to join our team as an Administrative Assistant in Sioux City, IA!

Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant:
- Great clients, candidates, and visitors with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Answer and direct telephone calls
- Manage the reception area, ensuring it is tidy and presentable at all times
- Provide administrative support to various departments
- Assist in organizing and coordinating events
- Manage office supplies, inventory, and place orders when necessary
- Receive accounts receivable checks and draft deposits
- Sort and distribute incoming mail
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Driving off site for general errands
Benefits:
- Starting Pay: $18/hr + DOE

Hours: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm
Requirements of the Administrative Assistant:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role
- Experience in the staffing industry or human resources – Preferred, but not required
- Proficient in basic computer skills including typing/data entry, MS Office, internet and email usage.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills that show professionalism and competence.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal supervision
- Must have strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a driving record that is insurable by Aventure.
