SalaryPerfect job for a local stay at home mom! This is a part-time, Work From home job. This job is paid on a 1099, so you will be responsible for your taxes. We are looking for a dependable, computer savvy, friendly individual to join our team! This position will be a Work From home position. The person we are looking for must be organized and detailed with a good phone voice that is customer service oriented. You will work 2 days a week 8:30-5:30 and one day either 8:30-1:00 or 1:00-5:30. This individual must be very competent, reliable, and able to answer the phone quickly without background noise. The job involves scheduling client appointments, and verifying insurance benefits. Confidentiality is important as this is a health related field.
You will need to have access to a computer and printer/scanner. You will be provided with a cell phone and be compensated $400 a month for carrying the phone during those hours. Typical call volume is 3-5 calls per day. If the call volume goes up significantly, compensation will be re-evaluated.
You will need to be available to come into the office occasionally. Othe duties will include entering payment and expense data into a spreadsheet. Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is required. You will also be the person who communicates with the insurance billing company. You will be responsible for verifying the monthly analysis reports and statements from the billing company. On occasion you will need to make some collection calls for past due bills. Duties outside of answering the phone will be paid at a $12 per hour rate.
