Exciting opportunity to join K2 Management, a leading global consultancy (utility-scale wind and solar). We are seeking a hands-on, growth oriented professional with a passion for renewable energy to actively pursue and support business development and project execution across our North American (NA) market. This position reports to the NA headquarters in Boston, MA to the President, Americas. This is a remote-based role with preference to candidates in the Boston, MA area for in-office collaboration.
Showcase your sales and communication skills while gaining valuable broad exposure to key players within the wind and solar sectors. Position Details:
Your role will span business development and project execution activities. You will work closely with the President, Americas in all phases of business development, from market mapping and identification of potential customers to preparing proposals and other materials in support of winning new business for K2. You will also provide support to active projects that are underway across the K2 team, including internal document management, coordinating scheduling, and preparing meeting minutes.
Responsibilities:
Perform market research and mapping of potential business opportunities
Prepare market intelligence materials in advance of customer meetings
Own the proposal process: provide hands-on coordination of colleagues and materials across the K2 organization, coupled with a deep understanding of K2s capabilities to serve its clients; develop and deliver final proposal materials
Perform market research and mapping of renewable energy projects across North America; maintain database related to these findings
Develop customized, targeted presentations outlining K2s capabilities and fit to the customers needs
Support Project Managers and Consultants across the U.S. team with project administration
Actively deepen your knowledge of the global wind and solar industry and market potential
Actively participate in customer identification and relationship management
Support the President in various administrative and business management tasks
Perform various ad hoc tasks as required
This is a growth role that will broaden and increase in responsibilities as aptitude is demonstrated.
Qualifications:

Personal passion for the renewable energy industry, with a desire to grow ones career within this sector
Minimum of 1 to 3 years professional experience in any Commercial Sales role and experience with preparing proposals
Bachelors degree required
Educational and professional background that demonstrates a commitment to personal growth and high achievement
Experienced and efficient user of MS Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Personal Characteristics:
Analytical and commercially-minded; capable of spotting market opportunities and trends
Intellectual curiosity combined with a passion for professional growth
Service-oriented mindset; responsive, collaborative and a team player
Highly organized with an ability to manage multiple projects at once
Legal authorization to live and work in the United States
