The Opportunity:
The role of Wellness Coordinator will be an integral part of the Montgomery Heart and Wellness team. As a wellness professional, you will be a strong presence in the clinic, responsible for promoting a supportive environment for our patients. You will provide tailored nutrition and lifestyle counseling, collaborate with other team members, and help to create new initiatives to promote a healthy lifestyle for the patients. Wellness coordinators are responsible for promoting wellness plans to patients and ensuring that patients are achieving their desired health goals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Providing nutrition and lifestyle counseling to patients in a respectful and motivated manner.
- Facilitating the sale of wellness products and services.
- Working closely within a clinical setting to ensure that patients are achieving their health goals.
- Developing individualized nutrition plans and wellness programs tailored to the specific needs of various patients.
- Overseeing our wellness programs, to ensure that they remain up-to-date.
- Collaborating with team members to ensure that patients are receiving the best possible care.
Desired Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years experience in nutrition, healthcare, or related field
- Demonstrated outstanding customer service skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
Nice-To-Haves:
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of special dietary needs
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
- Experience creating promotional materials
- Experience teaching seminars, workshops, and webinars
- Bilingual
