Your professionalism and multi-task skills will have a positive impact at our fast-paced facility. In this role, you have day-to-day contact with patients and employees from our various departments. You are a vital part of the team to ensure the clinic and business office runs smoothly and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Answering phones and directing calls
- Taking Messages
- Using EClincalWorks to schedule patients
- Verifying and updating patient demographics and insurance
- Helping to call in prescriptions or labs.
- Confirms next day appointments and alerts patients as needed documents, including details associated with time of service payments
- Operate office equipment, such as voice mail messaging systems, and use of Word and Excel
- Faxing documents as needed
- Logging missed calls
- Keeping patient and other sensitive information private
Minimum Qualifications/Experience:
- One plus year of experience providing exceptional customer service – healthcare environment preferred, though not required.
- Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player
- Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately
- Ability to excel in a very fast-pace team environment
- Ability to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectation
- Strong communication skills & professional demeanor
- Ability to work effectively as an individual as well as part of a team.
