Web Developer

Summary:

The Web Developer will play a key role in the development and maintenance of our web applications. This position will work closely with our cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibility:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Design and implement robust and scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails, and Next.js Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Ensure that bug tickets are complete with business value and acceptance criteria.
• Review existing code and make changes as needed for performance increases, better organization, and stability.
• Participate in code reviews ensuring code developed by others is bug free and utilizes best practices.
• Follow and help refine development best practices and standards.
• Help identify, prioritize, and execute tasks to meet project deadlines.
• Comply with standards, version controls, and product release procedures.
• Work under minimal supervision with latitude for independent judgement.
• Attend and participate in online standup meetings, team meetings, and design reviews.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
• Demonstrated experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
• Proficient in Ruby, Rails, Next.js. PHP, and Vue.js.
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with database systems such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Understanding of agile methodologies is critical
