Senior Web App Developer (Full Stack)

Overview: 

The Senior Web App Developer (Full Stack) will be part of the Customer Experience Team. The individual in the position is expected to have a high degree of technical knowledge and good communication to not only deliver as a developer, but also collaborate with peers to deliver solid solutions, innovate to make the Cx Team more effective and be an active partner with other IT and business teammates. 

The individual will be a key team member of strategic initiatives like the creation of a new Customer Portal, business sites and B2B/B2C eCommerce solutions. As a member of agile run projects, the employee is expected to be able to collaborate with people of different discipline.

The candidate must be able to work autonomously and have a solid experience with Angular development, Java Spring MVC framework, systems design, Agile, DevOps, CICD and B2B/B2C web-based solutions.

This role reports to the IT Senior Director of Customer Experience.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

• Support the goals of the company’s technological alignment efforts
• Design, develop, test, and quality assurance of complex product features within our Customer Engagement & Commerce portfolio
• Accountability, delivery of the assigned tasks on time, ensuring high quality and high performance
• Work in a Lean development environment which requires the individual to be self-driven
• Works with Business / Functional Analysts to understand business problems and develop technical solutions.
• Apply structured design and structured programming techniques to assigned tasks.
• Develop task and project estimates
• Contribute to the definition and improvement of the SLDC and CICD processes.
• Support team members in cross-functional tasks such as QA, UAT and defect triage
• Recommends system solutions by comparing custom development and possible purchased alternatives
• Bring a sense of innovation to the business and IT teams
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed by management.

Application Support

• Provide application support as needed by diagnosing integration and/or performance problems and implementing long-term solutions.
• Configuring, managing, monitoring, and debugging software (Web Applications, Apache, tomcat).
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on configurations, software revisions and patch management information
• Stay abreast of advances in assigned technology and business processes

 Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Strong analytical, technical, and architectural skills
• Experience using SDLC methodologies, CI/CD and source code control applications
• Strong experience with Agile project management methodologies
• Expert in Microsoft .Net Full Stack
• Strong experience in C#, WebApi, Microsoft service / web service development, IIS, MVC, Html, JavaScript, CSS, Typescript
• Strong experience in AngularJs and KnockoutJs
• SQL Server Database
• Write complex queries
• Create / modify stored procedures, functions and views
• Database local and deployed installation and configuration
• Oracle

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Products including Visio, Word, Excel

• Competence in at least four areas in the Full Stack with advanced experience in at least one: Backend development (data access, services, MVC, APIs); Frontend development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript); JavaScript frameworks (jQuery); Database design and development (data modeling, optimization, T-SQL); Infrastructure (DevOps, CI/CD processes, source control, cloud)

Experience/Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 8+ Years of relevant software development experience
• 7+ years of experience with modern software design patterns, debugging, and refactoring
• 7+ years of demonstrated experience in Online Customer Experience (Business Sites, Customer Portals, B2C, B2B and/or B2B2C ecommerce business practices)
• Be legally able to work in the United States: U.S. Citizen or Legal Resident

Preferred Experience / Education

• Development experience with Hybris or SAP Cx modules, Commerce Cloud (CCV2)
• Experience on integrating various payment providers
• Experience with Microsoft DevOps
• Experience with ERP software (Oracle, SAP, other)

Compensation: The salary rate for this position ranges from $135k-150, depending on circumstances, including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors.
