Job Description:
At L3Harris Commercial Training Systems we develop the software, hardware and e-learning solutions for aviation industry. For the Software Engineer-Full Stack Web Developer role you will develop, design and maintain various applications that interface with our e-learning and cloud based simulation training products. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer who will be performing the work on both the front end and back-end of such solutions.
Essential Functions:
Design and produce work packages to maintain and advance existing development efforts in simulation technologies
Develop various applications working with the Learning Content Management System (LCMS) back-end
Develop interfaces to cloud based simulation training products
Develop Web based UI for various applications
Provide technical support for customers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Physics with 4 Years of related experience; or, Graduate degree in Computer Science or related field and 2 years related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and RESTful APIs.
Proficiency working with Web frameworks (like React or Angular)
Strong experience working with MVC and Entity frameworks.
Experience with cloud-based web platforms (Azure, AWS, or others)
Solid foundation in C#.
Ability to design and manipulate relational databases (SQL Server and SQL)
Experience with Visual Studio and comparable Integrated Development Environment (IDE).
Experience with single page web applications
Strong problem resolution and skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks
Strong verbal, written, and active listening communication skills.
Must be detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal communication.
Must possess exceptional time management and organizational skills.
