Job Summary:
As a member of our planning team, you will coordinate with other engineers, GIS/CAD technicians, team members from multiple offices, and clients to successfully complete projects. Duties/Responsibilities:
- Prepare planning studies
- Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling
- Prepare Preliminary Engineering Reports
- Develop Master Plans and Capital Improvement Plans
- Lead tasks and potentially some projects
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong experience with municipal water distribution and/or wastewater and stormwater collection planning projects
- Expertise with GIS, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, and a sound understanding of hydraulic and hydrologic principles
- Proficient with applicable software such as WaterCAD / WaterGEMS, InfoWater, PCSWMM, and InfoSWMM
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable managing and prioritizing multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to work successfully with experts in multiple disciplines with a range of approaches
- Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Four or more years of relevant professional experience
- Current Professional Engineer licensure in Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Utah, and/or Idaho or ability to obtain licensure
