As our Water and Sewer Systems Maintenance Assistant, you're not just clocking in; you're embarking on an adventure. Your morning kicks off with a stroll through the water plant grounds, where you inspect and maintain the very systems that keep our community flowing smoothly.

Suddenly, a call comes in-it's an emergency at a booster station. With a mix of urgency and expertise, you leap into action. You make quick adjustments to pressure-reducing valves, ensuring peak flow and fire protection. Your adrenaline pumping, you switch gears to assist in the installation or repair of wastewater treatment facilities, monitoring lagoons to guarantee top-notch wastewater treatment.

After the morning whirlwind, you transition to maintaining the facilities and grounds. From painting to plumbing, welding to weed control, your day is a symphony of skills contributing to the harmony of Dutch John Water & Sewer systems. As the sun sets over the serene landscape, you wrap up by performing routine maintenance on department vehicles, ensuring they're ready for the next day's adventures.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of experience in Water and Sewer system maintenance or related duties
• Basic knowledge of maintenance materials and tools
• Apprentice-level skill in basic automotive repair
• Ability to follow instructions, communicate effectively, and lift 50 lbs
• Valid Utah driver's license

WORK SCHEDULE

This part-time position will have you working a maximum of 27 hours per week in the charming town of Dutch John, UT.
