The Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Maintenance Manager in maintaining the facility and equipment in good working order. The Maintenance Assistant will perform a variety of tasks including but not limited to painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC maintenance.
Responsibilities- Assist the Maintenance Manager in maintaining the facility and equipment in good working order
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC maintenance
- Assist in the repair and replacement of equipment and systems as needed
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment and systems are functioning properly
- Assist in maintaining inventory of supplies and equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in maintenance or related field preferred
- Knowledge of painting, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Valid driver's license
