Overview

The Warehouse Picking Supervisor is responsible for supervising the packing employees driving for results and excellence in accordance with company standards and goals.

The Supervisor assists the Warehouse Operation Managers in providing direction to complete warehouse assignments with a hands-on approach.

Essential Functions

• Monitors tote volume in picking area and reallocate people as necessary to provide even distribution of workload
• Communicates over/under staffed conditions and other work matters to management
• Provides picking supplies to the employees as needed
• Monitors, prioritizes, and delegates assignments of Picking Department employees in accordance with departmental standards of productivity and quality
• Handles miscellaneous tasks as assigned
• Ensures proper rotation within the pick module
• Insures compliance with employee schedules including the use of overtime hours
• Provides job training to new hires and employees
• Makes recommendations and maintains departmental staffing levels
• Communicates with warehouse managers regarding work matters and direction
• Insures compliance of all company safety rules and regulations
• Encourages and promote by example a positive and harmonious work environment
• Maintains orderly housekeeping of all assigned areas
• Interacts and cooperates with other leads and departments as needed
• Other duties as needed

Non-essential functions

• Collaborates in employee’s performance reviews feedback
• Covers for other leads as needed

Required Qualifications and Education

• 2+ years’ experience in a supervisory position in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
• Strong communication skills
• Strong time management skills
• Power sports industry knowledge is a plus

Pay: $46,342.00 - $61,652.00 per year
