Warehouse Operations Supervisor

The Mundy Companies, a leader in the industrial maintenance, services, and construction fields, is currently hiring the following for a position the Castle Hayne, NC area:

WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

Warehouse Supervisor is a working supervisor who manages and oversees all the functions of the warehouse and operations area and ensures smooth operations of all activities. This position requires managing warehouse and operator workers and adhering to necessary safety, environmental and legal procedures.

Duties and Responsibility:

• Supervising the functions and working of all warehouse workers--packers, tank farm, etc.
• Delegating and assigning tasks and targets and evaluating the working of staff.
• Adhering to the compliance of all legal and safety procedures.
• Managing the inventory, monitoring cycle counts and conducting audits of same to validate results.
• Supervising proper shift allocations and ensuring efficiency of all warehouse staff.
• Organizing and conducting necessary training activities for the workers. Ensuring training paperwork is current.
• Ensuring the proper functioning of all warehouse tools and equipment.
• Manage inventory and reorder of packaging supplies.
• Ensure high housekeeping standards are met.

Skills and Specifications

• Knowledge of the safety and legal documentation processes for handling related warehousing activities including, TSCA, DOT, CFR, AAR, FRA, etc.
• Should have excellent leadership and administration skills and abilities.
• Strong motivational skills and effectual team building capabilities.
• Ability to effectively manage time, resolve crises and decision making.
• Ability to efficiently coordinate workings with internal and external workers of the company.
• Limit overtime except as authorized by the Finished Goods Operating Manager.
