Job Description
The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee the warehouse's daily operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping products. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse management and be able to lead a team of warehouse workers to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
This role reports to the General Manager.
Compensation:
- $65,000 + production-based bonuses and incentives
- Can range from $70k – 90k annually
- Prescribes to servant leadership ideals.
- Prioritizes a safe work environment, following all warehouse, company, and regulatory requirements.
- Supervises unloading and loading operations and two forklift team leaders in barrel warehousing operations and related work, including inspection, inventory, loading, quality control, and shipment.
- Monitors equipment and systems operation, identifies when repairs and maintenance are needed, and works with maintenance to schedule, coordinate, and effect repairs and modifications.
- Documents incident, disciplinary action, and accident/injury reports when needed.
- Control warehouse consumable items, equipment parts, and tools, and communicate replacement needs to the General Manager, as needed.
- Monitors materials’ quality to material specifications and takes appropriate action to correct non-conforming materials in accordance with our ISO 9001 & 14001 specifications.
- Ensures barrels are produced to specification and adjusts equipment or processes as needed to maintain quality, capacity, and other specifications.
- Manages warehouse housekeeping and sanitation activities to ensure sanitation standards are maintained.
- Works with HR to staff the team with full-time employees as needed.
- Assists in training new team members and manages ISO 9001 training documents.
- Assists in the planning, developing, and implementing processes, capital improvements, and modifications with the General Manager. Provides input and information for budget preparation and strategic planning.
- Completes ongoing continuing education as recommended by KBB leadership.
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- 3-5 Years of People Management Experience
- Forklift Experience
- Positive Attitude and Problem Solver
- Strong people skills, communication skills, personnel problem solving skills, and social skills are required.
